We’ve all been affected by cancer in one way or another — whether it’s our own diagnosis or walking alongside a family member or friend as they battled through theirs. For me, it got personal in the fall of 2014. Hearing the news was surreal. But I’m grateful to say I’m now nearly 11 years cancer-free. In that time, I’ve tried to give back by supporting family and friends who have had to navigate their journey with this terrible disease — celebrating their wins and simply being there when things didn’t go as hoped. Cancer doesn’t discriminate, but I’ve learned that we are all more resilient than we think. That’s why I’m proud to support the American Cancer Society and their mission to advance research, provide patient support, and advocate for change. Let’s do what we can to help touch the lives of our fellow humans to beat cancer. I’m honored to play a small part in that mission and I’m excited to see all the great things ACS and the volunteers are doing to make life better.
While I haven’t personally experienced cancer, I’ve seen the impact it has on so many lives—family, friends, colleagues, and people in my community. That’s why I’m proud to support the American Cancer Society and its mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. I want to live in a world where a diagnosis has a solution, and the fears and questions people are faced with have answers. I believe in the power of research, advocacy, and patient support, and I’m committed to doing my part to help drive progress. We can all make a difference, you just have to say yes. Whether through fundraising, volunteering, or spreading awareness, I’m honored to stand alongside others who are working toward a future without cancer.
